I took the liberty of inserting a Scotty dialogue line not actually in the episode....once. Would it be considered too disruptive if such bits exponentially increased from time to time, MST3K-style, whether they were italicized or boldfaced?

Good question, I personally didn't mind all that much. Sometimes I will do something like that, but it's always with the line from the episode that I'm posting. You didn't post an actual line from the episode, therefore weren't part of the list. Somebody else chimed in doing something similar, they were not included either. You weren't singled out.

If a lot of interruptions were to be made in future threads, I can't speak for anyone else, but I would not be happy about it. I think you're line was funny, but don't run that into the ground.
