Just spotted the head Keeper (Meg Wyllie) on the Emergency! episode "Fuzz Lady". Kinda weird seeing her with out the big head.

I remember her having a small role as a shotgun toting grandma in "The Last StarFighter". Even without the cranial headpiece (still probably one of the best make-up effects TOS achieved), she had that distinctive "startled" stare that made me recognize her.

I remember that. Yeah, she looked amazingly familiar straight off, and in a short while I finally placed her (back when I first saw The Last Starfighter). She had a number of character actor roles over the years. Those eyes... so piercing.

When I was a kid, I used to think the Keeper was played by Dr. Bellows from I Dream of Jeannie, Hayden Roarke. I think it was reinforced by having an actor named Adam Roarke in the cast (I didn't know Hayden from Adam).

It was amusing to realize how wrong I was...

Likewise, I too thought it was Doctor Bellows and was amazed to find out they were all women, LOL.
