CPU: Intel i5-2500K overclocked to 4ghz cooled with a Prolimatech Genesis cooler. Used to have liquid cooling until about 4 weeks ago when I switched back to air cooling for convenience reasons. The temps are still fine even setting all fans to minimum with the fan controller.

RAM: 16GB gskill ripjaw x

Everything in CM Stacker case. I've even built the pc myself. I'm such a nerd.
.
I don't think I'll ever need that much RAM.. but of course, I prob will.

I'm not a gamer, but I built my last two pcs, the last one in a gaming case, (which I still have) but for convenience I got the current HP tower. Of course nothing of the original interior is left now.

My next major upgrade is both an internal HDD and portable one.

I also upgraded my Comcast cable internet speed from 6 Mbps to 20Mbps d/l speed.

So I decided 20 wasn't fast enough so I upgraded to 30Mbps speed, I tested it at 36Mbps today.

Re: What are your current computer's specs?

Specs? eh I've got about 60 machines around so...

Ah well:
IBM Model 5160 PC/XT

Intel 8088 4.77 Mhz
640 Kb RAM
Seagate ST-225R 20 Mb MFM harddrive, rare one, the normal ST-225's are MFM drives with two platters, this one is a single platter using RLL encoding which is efficient enough to also get to 20Mb of disk space.
1x 5.25" SS/SD 360Kb floppy drive
WD RLL HDD controller
Multi IO/Floppy controller
MCA "graphics" card, doesn't actually do graphics, only textmodes are available.
IBM radioactive green on black CRT monitor.
Generic xt keyboard.
no mouse ha!
MS DOS 5.1

Obsolete.

Personally I wouldn't post that information anyway. You never know what people can use to hack your system.

Re: What are your current computer's specs?

Currently testing a:

Pentium 4 2.0A 2Ghz
Ancient MSI 6526 GL mainboard, even the caps are all intact.
786 Mb RAM
80Gb Samsung PATA drive
dvd and dvd burner, floppy drive
on-board everything, doesn't have an AGP port
it runs Linux Mint 13 LTS

Not a fast machine but it works well enough.

My good machine crapped out with a disk drive crash in February and I haven't been able to afford to fix or replace. Now on a piece of shit with only 2gig ram that can't be expanded.

Re: What are your current computer's specs?

I've got:

AMD Athlon II X4 630 @ 2.8GHz
16GB DDR3 PC10600 RAM
nVidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti
700GB SATA hard drive

The RAM and video card are upgrades. I also put a much better PSU in it since what it came with was too anemic to run the GeForce card.

The system is 4 years old and in a while I'll probably a new motherboard and CPU in it and carry on. No need to toss out the rest.

Re: What are your current computer's specs?

How will my randomly generated serial number from a Hackintosh reveal anything? And even if, it will only be the specs.
One still does need more to attack my computer directly, there are three firewalls (router, AEBS, computer) in place. Good luck finding all my slow-more porn.

Anyway, here are my dick measurements:

Gigabyte Z77-UD-3H (cheap one, but could not find the UP5-TH anymore and this one was available)
i7-3770K CPU
Asus GTX670 DirectCU GPU
32GB of RAM Corsair Vengeance
250 GB Samsung 840 SSD for OS and applications
Nine 3 TB Seagate Barracuda HDDs
Three 2 TB Seagate Barracuda HDDs
Four 1.5 TB Seagate Barracuda HDDs
Eight or so 1 TB WD HDDs
Two keyboards and two mice
Two U2412M displays
and some other stuff
