I really like the design of the Flemming class, it reminds me of a perimeter action vessel. I like the phaser turrets around the ventral spine.

Two Connie variants. First one is from a model seen in a couple of TNG eps.

next one is one I remember first seeing in a very old issue of Starlog. I've since seen it a time or two around the Internet, but at the moment can't find it again so I had to give a "generic" credit.

any help IDing the rightful designer of the 2nd variant would be appreciated.

I have that Starlog issue, will dig it out tonight. If i remember correctly it was to show the Enterprise fitted with trans-warp engines.

Yeah, it was a bunch of solicited fan designs back around the time of ST III/IV as I recall for the new (at the time) Enterprise.

I don't know about that...though I've read so many Trek and Treknical books in my life I may have and just forgotten it...I don't recall any Kestrel that was based on the Decatur class at least...
