The drydock is looking good, and I'm loving the Bonaventure.

Hopefully, it won't take you too long to get her engineering hull centered.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
The textures are getting close to finished. I might add a little more grime but I’m not sure. I still have to move into mental ray.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
I’ve started to test textures on the warp pylon. So far so good.

The windows are done and I’ve put rooms behind them. I may add a few portholes as well.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
The spine has all it’s grid lines now. I just need to chamfer a few edges around the impulse engine and add rooms behind the saucer windows. You might also notice on the warp engine that mirror universe has a copy of this ship now.

I’ve also added a few new ideas for details on the drydock.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
Well I thought it’s the end of the month so I might as well go do some work on the Sirius.
I started to work on ideas for textures in the shuttle bay. I’m pretty happy with the result so far. I still need to dirty it up a bit.

Just wanted to see how it looks from outside the windows.

And here is an interior shot. I added some yellow things to the wall and a door. Doors are always a good idea.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
I added an elevator. And started to work on the back room.

I got the side walls with the windows attached and added stuff to the roof.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
I added some more plant-ons to the wall and I also decided to add some observation rooms to the sides.

I was getting a bit tired of working on the Sirius so I went and started on textures cor the bridge and the command deck of the Ben Aventure. I’m pretty happy with it so far.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
The command deck is pretty dirty now. I’m happy with it.

I also thought I’d try doing the texture for the spine.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
Got a little bit more done on the spine. I decided to re-texture the aft section but it’s being a real pain in the ass and the heat around hear is driving me nuts so I decided to take a break.

I decided to add some construction arms to my drydock. Right now they are just blocked in ideas for what I want to do.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
Ok. Back to the bonny. I go the unwrapping problem taken care of I think. So I started on the re-texturing of the aft section.
I wasn’t happy with the lower part of the back because it looked to blank to me. So I added a couple of things.

I also redid the top.

Re: ALT-Trek

UPDATE...
The aft end is now done and so is the impulse engine.

Now all the little bits are done. I can focus on the saucer and the other warp engine. I have to fix some issues with the lower saucer and put rooms behind the windows.
