An alternate scenario for Voyager
The United Federation of Planets has fallen. Humanity, once among the mighty leaders of the Federation, are now slaves living under the Dominion rule. The Klingons have been rendered extinct after they fiercely refuse to surrender to the Dominion. Starfleet has been reduced to a ragtag resistance movement who has more losses under their belt than wins. What's left of the Romulan Empire has gone deep into hiding. The Cardassians are another slave race subjected to Dominion rule after an attempted uprising among them cost them their freedom and their homeworld. While looking for a way to go back to their own time, the Voyager crew fights to survive this dangerous future. They have to outrun the Dominion who want them dead, turned into slaves, or subjects of an interrogation on how they came to arrive from the past. They also find themselves contending with those who wish to use their ship for their own purposes like the Starfleet resistance movement. B'Elanna deals with the emotional shock of her people's extinction and the Maquis crewmembers are conflicted by the circumstances of the fall of their greatest enemy, the Cardassians. At some point, Voyager goes from looking for a way back home to fighting to save the people of the future from Dominion oppression. This can be either the future if DS9 had ended differently or a future alternate reality. |

Re: An alternate scenario for Voyager
CMO lives, XO lives, Chief Engineer lives... Security Chief dies, Captain dies, and so on. A different mix of Starfleet/Maquis than what we got. Just for sihts and giggles, an alternate scenario. I wanted more Stadi is what I'm saying. |

Re: An alternate scenario for Voyager
Meanwhile, Belanna Torres is rescued from the Maquis ship, but after a violent argument with the chief engineer, she's relegated to scrubbing the plasma conduits for the rest of the trip home, where she's joined by a deranged hologram who thinks it's oh so lovely to see this plasma conduit, and did you know that it was one of the few plasma conduits on the ship that wasn't made by the good folks at Utopia Planetia? It was actually built for the USS Intrepid, the first of the class, but after she returned from her trials, the part was taken from that ship and placed on Voyager due to a clerical error. Belanna, in an act of pure desparation, uses a phaser and ruptures said conduit, ending the show six years early. The last six years of the show consist entirely of Voyager's debris drifting through space, being scanned by passing aliens who decide that it isn't worth their time to stop and have a closer look.

Re: An alternate scenario for Voyager
In the pilot, a bunch of people lived or died. An alternate scenario for VOY where a different mix lives or dies. This one, not that one. Him, but not her. Maybe just a random mix, an alternate outcome. You know, like those TNG reality-bending eps like "Future Imperfect" and "Parallels" and such, with a different crew than the norm. |

Re: An alternate scenario for Voyager
Why the need to bring the Dominion into the picture or 'enhance' the show from elements native to Ds9? I found Ds9 boring if anything.
