J.J. Abrams is giggling hysterically over all the speculation

I seriously doubt it. He's rolling around in his piles of cash.

I know I am, seriously, we won't know a thing until this time in 2013. Right now just have fun throwing around ideas and having a laugh.

Definitely Herbert. Maybe.

J.J. may or may not be giggling at the wild speculation, but I'd bet that Bob Orci is mightily amused by it all. I'm not so sure he hasn't started a few rumors here and there, just for the lulz (and yes, I find that notion pretty amusing, myself.)

I am just glad they're paying attention to the fans. I am sure they enjoy the speculation and are glad to see us speculating...it means we're interested!

I am going to start another rumour: There will be a new alien introduced into the sequel.

Actually that's probably true, we saw lots of little new aliens throughout the first movie, and the first canon appearance of Arex's race. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we get at least three or four new races in the background of this one.

I've seen the movie multiple times, where was one of Arex's people?

The Kelvin bridge, he's at one of the forward stations, the camera briefly focuses on him when Neral (?) hails them.

We never get to see low enough on his chest to see how many arms he has.

The photos from the book that was made about the movie shows he has only two arms.
