It's a good question. Apparently she's just one of those girls who likes to be abused and controlled. I mean she let's Riker lead her on for seven plus years, while he's off making "first contact" with every random alien girl of the week.

It's only after he's old and bloated that he finally realizes the girls of the week are dating the hot younger officers and he finally commits to Troi due to lack of options.

I swear, Troi and Barclay had better chemistry than Troi and Riker.

Unless we find ourselves in a Resolutions thread, whenever I say "that Monkey" who I am actually talking about is Will Riker. With the exception of when he's temporarily and artificially smooth as an androids bum, that MONKEY has more hair on the back of his hands than on his face.
