No doubt about it- JJ Abrams needs to get you on staff. You are the master of designs for that universe.

Rotating the nacelles 90 degrees solves almost every complaint I had with them, and the little bits and pieces from other popular ships just ices the cake.

Love it, as always!

To much cool Ricky! Just add a few lifeboats on top and, maybe, to the sides of the sec hull. Put phaser stripes over the saucer and on the underside of the sec hull, and you have a winner for sure!
Oh and share it, PLEASE!

I have to agree: I like it. A lot!

I'd be interested to see what it looked like with the nacelles angled down, like this variant in the Voyager concept design.

Somehow, I just think it might work.

And, as much as I like the round primary hull, I can't help wanting to reach into the picture and just grab the very front and stretch it out like silly putty, just to see what it would look like.

Nicely done, as always!

Very cool. The shuttlebay looks inclined a bit more but that might just be my eyes. Stunning images.

An Abrams universe Galaxy would be interesting to see. Abrams universe Defiant or Prometheus would be just as interesting.

Re: Something Totally Different...

Thanks guys.

I always did like that Voyager concept... it was more of a departure from the usual look, and really seemed smaller, and older. Too bad the Voyager we got for the show was brand new, with top of the line equipment.

Work has begun on the Galaxy Class. I'm not sure how long I'll wait until I start posting WIP images yet... right now, all the major parts on in place...
