I want there to be a Nite Owl/Rorscach prequel. (With cameos from Silk Spectre.)

I hate myself for wanting this.

There needs to be another Watchmen as much as there needs to be another Citizen Kane or Casablanca. Which is to say: not at all.
But I think we can all agree that we need that inevitable crossover film, Citizen Casablanca.

That'd be an awesome crossover.

You know, Orson Welles might just have been crazy enough to try it, too.

That's what the Xbox 360 game that tied in with the movie was -- Nite Owl and Rorschach in their early partnership.

Speaking of Watchmen sequels, prequels, and spin-offs, today's RIPT Apparel t-shirt is awesome -- "Hello Watchmen," in which Sanrio's beloved Hello Kitty mascot meets the Comedian.

I love how Bleeding Cool always throws in that they "broke the story" in articles surrounding a follow-up to Watchmen as if people actually care.
A site called "Bleeding Cool" probably has a bit of a reputation to keep up.

Re: Watchmen 2?

The Watchman was one of the most faithful movie adaptations of any kind that I've seen, and while I had several problems with it, and ideas why it wasn't a blockbuster repeat viewing of the movie has actually shown me it has "legs" and will probably wind up a classic. I'm skeptical about a sequel being any good, but of course, I would watch it.

This isn't about a movie sequel RAMA but prequels to the original graphic novel.

Re: Watchmen 2?

Id read what Rich talks about in this article. I wonder when DC is planning on announcing this project. Rich hasn't harped on anything as much as this since he broke the New 52 story back in June I think.
