Possible World Record in the Works

BEHOLD THIS PROP PHASER!

It is made out of foam. It flew into space thanks to to Greg Chamitoff on STS-134 who's a fairly huge Trekkie (as most of them are). It's going to be submitted to the fine folks at Guinesss for the first movie prop to appear on screen, fly into space, and the appear again in a later movie.

In a related story, the phasers aren't changing.

Surely it's a little late to break that one.
