Great interview with Morrison about Multiversity: http://comicsalliance.com/grant-morr...con-san-diego/
Usually the previews of art from upcoming books are readable.
I think the concept sounds really great--but why should we expect this to be anything other than an Elseworlds series DC just usually ignores Morrison's work in regular continuity?
Well from what I've heard, DC is using some of the concepts seen in Multiversity for future stories.

But that is EXACTLY how Morrison's relationship with DC works. DC uses SOME of his concepts and tosses others.

Final Crisis was the one that ticked me off the most, but more recently Batman Inc and Action Comics are also examples of this.

I am a big fan of Morrison's work, but DC just ignores it as far as continuity goes.

It's because Dan Didio hasn't always seen things or agreed with the things that Morrison has done over the years. He recognizes his genius, but hasn't always liked what Morrison has written.

The Multiversity Map will be included in the guidebook that will be published halfway through the series.

So this has been teased since at least the finale of "Forever Evil"...but the Darkseid War is coming.

Looking forward to it! Darkseid is the ultimate DC villain. Hopefully he makes a better showing than in the opening arc of JL.

It was also Gail Simone's final issue of "Batgirl".

I'm glad Superboy was cut. I had been contemplating dropping it for a while and then the decision was made for me so I just bought the last few issues to maintain a full run.

I can honestly say that I used to transfixed by those three titles years ago, but immediately felt disgusted by them after the new 52 reboot because of all the tossed history.

You have play for the team they put you on.

John Romita Sr. comes out of retirement to draw his first Superman cover. It's a variant cover for Superman 34. Link

Nice cover, but the S shield needs work and the left arm looks to be seceding from the rest of the body.

Nice cover, yeah, but I've been having a few problems with the inconsistencies in how the new shield is drawn. It is supposed to be on top of the uniform, not drawn like it is sewn into it.

Sorry, good cover. I love the guy's work and would be glad to have a copy of this.
