I just hope this takes out the Guardians once and for all, I'm sick of their dickery.

Haven't really been paying attention to anything GL since I dropped "Green Lantern" after the first issue. Johns' GL work to me has been uninteresting since the conclusion of "Blackest Night".

Agreed. I think I've said it before, but I'd love to see the Lanterns being forced to stand on their own. Maybe they would have a Senior Council of Lanterns with people like Kilowog, Guy (he'll be back, you can guarantee that,) Salaak, etc. Something tells me that they might offer it to John, but he would have little interest. I just think there's a lot of story potential in forcing the Corps to figure out their place in the universe without the Guardians calling the shots.

That's too bad. While it did seem to be spinning its wheels for a little while after Blackest Night, I thought War of the Green Lanterns was suitably epic. Also, the post New52 stuff was uniformly strong. Hal and Sinestro working together made for some fantastic stories. I like Baz so far, but I really want those two to return to the forefront.

It's interest, but after all this, I really can't see Sinestro as a villain any more. He's really become more of an anti-hero. It's a great shift though. The way Johns has made it happen feels completely organic. I really hope we don't see him return to villainy after all is said and done. Sinestro and Hal together are just too much fun to undo.

Baz's costume kind of reminds me of Kick-Ass's if he was a GL

Anne Nocenti, one of Harras's stooges at Marvel, got the writing gig on Catwoman.

I dropped Catwoman after the first issue. The only other one I picked up was the DotF crossover. That issue was insane. I guess that's indicative of the whole book, now? Doesn't really change my mind about not reading it.

I dropped Catwoman after issue one as well. Not at all the direction I thought they would take Selina. I much prefer Morrison's version. Probably my third most disappointing New 52 book after the first arc of "Justice League" and "Batgirl".

It seems to have gotten more insane. It used to be enjoyable on SOME level, hell for the fanservice alone, but now it's just nonsensical.

The Legion of Superheroes is getting a "revamp" in February. Keith Griffen is joining Paul Levitz, what the book really needs is Levitz gone.

Giffen on Legion might get me buying Legion again.

Yes, I'm one of the weird people who loved the Giffen/Tom & Mary "Five Years Later" era. I know that's never, ever coming back, but it's a nice dream.

I LOVE the 5YL Legion. It's complex, long-form storytelling was way ahead of it's time and in some ways a forerunner to today's comics.

I wouldn't even put money down on the guardians even being properly found out after this arc. I can imagine the entire thing ending with the guardian council rewriting the book of OA once again and the GLC none the wiser.

Read Sword of Sorcery #3, I'm enjoying this book. I never read anything about this character before so I have nothing to compare it to but this is a good book so far. I think this issue ends and indirectly ties into Justice League Dark since Amaya showed up over there an issue or two ago. Be curious how she returns next issue of this series. I got the impression she might be done over in JLD.

The back-up story about Beowulf also hasn't been bad. This installment really tied into the age of "super heroes" and gave some insight on how the world of Beowulf got to be how it is in the future.
