As did I.

All in all, a good episode. And Kate's character is awesome.

Now when does the next episode air?
Next Monday night.

I got a kick out of her character's name being "Jane". J'Rulz, I also called the last line out before Pete did!

PS: I'm a little giddy at getting to see current KM on tv twice a week!

I agree with Myka... regent Jane, AKA "the Guardian" is a real kick ass kind of gal.

Me too. I think it was the look on KM's face that telegraphed it.

I only guessed the twist seconds before it was revealed. I figured "Jane" had a secret, but I was thinking she was Jane Austin or Amelia Earhart or Joan of Arc or somebody . . . .

Cool ideas. I was wondering about her rapport with Myka, thinking she was an ancestor of hers, or long-lost aunt or something.

Or potential mother-in-law?

How they said that regents had been in charge since warehouse 2, I wondered did they mean "the same" Regents?

Are they, baring accidents, immortal?

Re: Mulgrew on Warehouse 13

^ I hadn't thought of them being immortal! Seems plausible to me. Especially for the guardian of the Big Secret that wears the funky wristband, if none of the others...

If they were immortal, then why did Philiip die?

They might be immortal as far as living normally goes but they are clearly not invulnerable to injury or death from injury. It was cool seeing KM on tv again.

Perhaps, as Guy had said, "barring accidents."

Possibly, or it could just mean that the institution has been around since Warehouse 2. Before that, maybe the Warehouse was administered by kings or priests or whomever.

I believe the first Warehouse was established by Alexander the Great. Possibly a board of regents was not put in charge until later, maybe after some monarch or high priest abused the power of the artifacts?

This is just speculation on my part, btw. I never discussed this with the show's writers.
