UK Star Trek Fan Gets TV Gig

A Star Trek fan from my home town of Manchester has scored himself a gig on the satellite TV station CBS Action as a "Trekologist", presenting Trek trivia before the actual episodes air.
Raules Davies, from Salford in Manchester, was apparently spotted at a sci-fi convention wearing his Trek uniform, and when the producers spoke to him, they felt his charisma and encyclopaedic knowledge of Trek were perfect for the role.

There's a video report here

I have to say, he wears those uniforms well.

What I really want to know is, does he post here?

10 hours of Trek a day? As much as I love Trek I don't think I could do that any more.

You wondering so you can challenge him to a quiz off?

Hell no. I know a hell of a lot of useless Trek trivia, but I doubt I could stand up against someone who watches Trek for 10 hours a day.

Surely he must have come across this site before, though.

I bet 100 quatloos on the newcomer.

You'd think, and if not, why not?

There's an interview with him on the CBS Action website. I'm gonna admit now that I chuckled like a nerd at his answer to the question of where he'd like to visit in the Star Trek universe.

You can follow him on Twitter... http://twitter.com/#!/RaulesDavies

He's been on CBS action during TOS remastered for a month or two...
