Well, being exposed to some forms of pattern light can cause seizures in some folks...
I assume it was more than just flashing lights; more like strange Lovecraftian "colours" that were beyond human understanding and perception. (As I recall, they used a similar effect to denote the indescribable, sanity-rending weirdness of THE DUNWICH HORROR, back in the old Sandra Dee movie.)

Or, more likely, they were going for some sort of LSD trip visual. (Hey, it was the sixties, man!)

Have you ever sat through a 6 hour Nicholas Cage movie marathon? that'd do it for me...

I don't know. Raising Arizona, Moonstruck, and Adaptation would be a pretty good triple bill.

And I have a soft spot for Ghost Rider and National Treasure . . . . .

Re: Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

I've finished the series "Enterprise", so now I'm back to watching TOS. I'm picking up where I left off during the 2nd season some time ago, and now I just finished By Any Other Name.

"The Paradise Syndrome" & "And the Children Shall Lead" (TOS). Regarding "Paradise", I have never liked tearjerkers. As for the other episode, the less said about it the better. (lol)
