The Host - I much prefer the DS9 version of the Trill!
Mind's Eye - One of my favorite La Forge episodes.

The Conscience of the King (TOS). This episode always reminds me of my dear cousin, a retired English/gifted teacher whose surname is Daily [like the captain of the Astral Queen].

"Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" - TOS Remastered

The new version of Cheron with burning cities visible from orbit was probably the best thing about the entire episode next to Frank Gorshin's scenery-chewing performance as Commissioner Bele.
Too bad the the remastering didn't have a remastered scene in which we see the wrecked cities in the mind's eye of both Bele and Lokai that weren't just burning cities and ruins.

Can't really argue with that. The old black-and-white newsreel footage of demolished city landscapes was okay and reasonably effective, but I'd have also preferred some rapid CGI shots of the planet's smoldering cityscapes and scenery.
