Re: The best episode of TNG - Part Five
Ensign Ro Silicon Avatar Disaster The Game Unification (I) Unification (II) A Matter of Time New Ground Hero Worship Violations The Masterpiece Society Conundrum Power Play Ethics The Outcast Cause and Effect The First Duty Cost of Living The Perfect Mate Imaginary Friend I, Borg The Next Phase The Inner Light Time's Arrow (I) Eliminated: "Redemption II." It's a disappointing conclusion to the cliffhanger with an ending that is all too pat. The series had been setting up the Romulan/Klingon arc for a few episodes in the previous season, but it's all wrapped up rather quickly here. Also, some of the visual effects with Kurn's ship are abysmal.

It was bound to get the cut very early on, and for good reason. It's one of the only TNG episodes that grates my teeth when I watch it

Ensign Ro Silicon Avatar Disaster The Game Unification (I) Unification (II) A Matter of Time New Ground Hero Worship Violations Conundrum Power Play Ethics The Outcast The First Duty Cost of Living The Perfect Mate I, Borg The Next Phase The Inner Light Time's Arrow (I) A lot of good stuff this season. I removed Cause and Effect because in the end, it was just seeing the same scene a bunch of times from different angles.

Ensign Ro Silicon Avatar Disaster The Game Unification (I) Unification (II) A Matter of Time Hero Worship Violations Conundrum Power Play Ethics The Outcast The First Duty Cost of Living The Perfect Mate I, Borg The Next Phase The Inner Light Time's Arrow (I) I'm going to take out New Ground, because every time I see that episode title, it's so forgettable, that it takes me a few minutes to remember just WTF it's about. Then I remember it's an Alexander episode, which means that being forgettable is its best quality |

Reason: It's such a dull and unlikeable episode that I'm amazed it made it this far to be honest. Remaining: Darmok |

Re: The best episode of TNG - Part Five
Ensign Ro Silicon Avatar Disaster The Game A Matter of Time Violations Conundrum Power Play The Outcast The First Duty Cost of Living I, Borg The Next Phase The Inner Light Time's Arrow (I) Removed: "Ethics," for the re-set of the ending, which is a total cheat allowing the writers to tell this story with a regular character and allow him to live in the end. Actually, it's not much different than the equally annoying cheat with Spock and his magical eye-lids in "Operation: Annihilate!"

Ensign Ro Silicon Avatar Disaster The Game A Matter of Time Violations Conundrum Power Play The Outcast The First Duty I, Borg The Next Phase The Inner Light Time's Arrow (I) Removed Cost of Living. I hate all Lwaxana episodes with passion!

Re: The best episode of TNG - Part Five
Ensign Ro Silicon Avatar Disaster The Game A Matter of Time Violations Conundrum Power Play The First Duty I, Borg The Next Phase The Inner Light Time's Arrow (I) Removing The Outcast - Probably one of the more forgettable episodes of the series, which is unfortunate because the subject matter could have gone a whole lot deeper.

Ensign Ro Silicon Avatar Disaster The Game Violations Conundrum Power Play The First Duty I, Borg The Next Phase The Inner Light Time's Arrow (I) Taking out A Matter of Time - I think it was trying to be funny and just not quite pulling it off. |

Re: The best episode of TNG - Part Five
Ensign Ro Silicon Avatar Disaster Violations Conundrum Power Play The First Duty I, Borg The Next Phase The Inner Light Time's Arrow (I) Took out "The Game". I loved that episode as a kid, but its kind of a dumb episode seeing it as an adult.
