The best episode of TNG - Part Two

Okay Trek fans, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations before you eliminate another one. Not a very accurate way of determining the best episode, but a fun game nonetheless. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

Winners:
Season One - The Arsenal of Freedom
Season Two -

The Child
Where Silence Has Lease
Elementary, Dear Data
The Outrageous Okona
Loud as a Whisper
The Schizoid Man
Unnatural Selection
A Matter of Honor
The Measure of a Man
The Dauphin
Contagion
The Royale
Time Squared
The Icarus Factor
Pen Pals
Q Who?
Samaritan Snare
Up the Long Ladder
Manhunt
The Emissary
Peak Performance
Shades of Gray

Taking out 'The Royale' to start. I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it. Any time I've tried to watch it in the last five years, I've had to give up 20 minutes in.

I don't normally participate in threads like this, but I figured I would do everyone a service and remove "Shades of Grey".

I mean...duh!

One of the worst Wesley-centric episodes ever. Just so humdrum.... IMHO.

I eliminated Manhunt because the story meanders around pointlessly, goes nowhere, and when it ends the audience is left saying, "That's it? That's all there is?"

As for myself, I'm taking out The Outrageous Okona. More like "The Excruciatingly Painful, Unbearable Okona."

I would vote to remove Shades of Grey. It is just a filler clip show.

Removed "The Child". The worst episode of TNG IMHO. Sexist and just a creepy and weird plot.

Time for Up the Long Ladder to get pulled. It's just too campy

Taking out Time Squared. It's got decent/good buildup for 45 minutes and then the ending comes out of nowhere and makes no sense. I've always found it unsatisfying.

The Schizoid Man is eliminated hands down. Brent Spiner playing evil has always been annoying to me. Other than that, there isn't much to say about the episode. Except that it drags. Out with the trash!

Eliminated Samaritan Snare. "Make it go..." away!

Data and his adorable little alien pen pal. A "feel good" episode, but not as likable as the ones remaining.
