Dave gets Dragon's Den

Looks like UKTV have picked up the US, Canadian and Irish versions of Dragon's Den to air on Dave. Seems an odd choice with Really launching on Freeview it could have been a big new acquisition for that channel instead...

The US, Irish and Canadian versions of Dragons’ Den are to get their first British broadcast on UKTV channel Dave.

The licensing agreement, with Sony Pictures Television’s 2waytraffic, will see the UK premiere of all three series on the male lifestyle channel.
The US version of the business reality format, known as Shark Tank, has just been re-commissioned for a third season by the ABC network. The Irish adaptation is made for RTE while the Canadian series is produced locally for CBC.
2waytraffic recently launched a new game app to accompany the series, available on iPhone and iPad.
In addition, Sky has secured 110 hours of Who Want to be a Millionaire? for gameshow network Challenge.
One more anal-probing gyro-pyro levitating ecoplasm alien anti-matter story and I'm going to take out my gun and shoot somebody.
