Not far from the truth, as it turned out.

Armus was intended to be revisited in DS9, and it would have been revealed that the race that shed "him" was the changelings.

Patrick Stewart's scenes were all filmed in England against a blue screen. The rest of the cast were CGI animatronics with voice overs by third rate actors.

I like this one. I wonder how it would have played out.

Ben Cross (Sarek) was the actor the writers had in mind to play Nero in ST '09 when the character was a Romulan admiral named Deridex - as in the warbird. Abrams put the kibosh on the idea when he found out they already did it with Admiral Valdore on ENT, and rethought the character as a working man.

Time travel, and therefor future Spock, was not originally in the story. They did want to include one of TOS actors in the film, and threw around the idea of doing a cameo with Leonard Nimoy playing Sarek with some minor prosthetics.

FACT: It was going to be revealed that Ezri was a dominion imposter pretending to be the incumbent host of the Dax symbiont.

FACT: Times Arrow was originally going to be set in the 1930's and Charlie Chaplin would have replaced Samuel Clements.

FACT: Kate Mulgrew's "coolness" around Jeri Ryan was due to Ryan taking some 'pictures' on the set of the Voyager bridge

FACT: Brent Spiner was actually pretty wasted during most of his scenes in The Naked Now

FACT: Jolene Blalock also developed an addiction to Trellium D

This was going to be revealed in the last few second of "What You Leave Behind," just as the screen fades to black.

Fact: Every third episode of Voyager was to depict yet another in a series of mutinies, as control of the ship constantly shifted from Starfleet to the Marquis and back again.

It would have gotten old and campy if they kept doing that for seven years. There would have been threads here on Voyager forum asking why Berman and Braga kept having control changing hands for seven years.

FACT: Colm Meaney turned down the Malcolm role on Jurassic Park to do Deep Space Nine.

FACT: Kate Mulgrew considered becoming Jack O'Neill's new love interest on Stargate in case Janeway would be killed during the events of The Equinox.

FACT: Gates McFadden wanted to have Corey Feldman on the show as Wesley's fraternal twin.

FACT: The term M-class planet was used in GRA because M stood for Majel (according to Gene Roddenberry), not Minshara (as T'Pol would have us believe).

(Not fake. Sorry.)

Janeway's dog was accidentally beamed into outer space because somebody forgot to tie it to a post.

FACT: The set for the nuEnterprise bridge was built in the same Paramount soundstage that once housed the set for the original Enterprise bridge 40 years earlier, but uses more of it.

FACT: They originally planned on having an Irish Setter on Voyager as Captain Janeway's dog. But none of the dogs they had got along with Roxanne Dawson in her Klingon make up, so they decided that Janeway had left behind Molly.

FACT: While it was never used or mentioned, there were attachment ports where Cardassian warships could clamp on Deep Space Nine and go to warp.

FACT: They were going to have Wesley join the Maquis.

Law of Mortis Nervosa: The jittery guy on an away mission is doomed.

1st law of Klingon behaviour: If Worf son of Mogh proclaims that Klingons don't do some specific activity, rest assured that they do do it, frequently and with gusto.

Law of Milesean Infallibilty: The bloody cardies can't be trusted. For real.

Law of dramatic unreliability: Any time the Enterprise encounters some wierd and possibly dangerous phenomena it has never encountered before, many ship's systems will spontaneously stop functioning. Warp drive, impulse drive, shields and internal comms are typical victims of this.
