Is Babylon 5 Set To Return In Some Form? rights negotiations happening

Mentioned last November to look for some news in April 2011 but it finally came this week.

According to TrekMovie.com, Koenig let slip this tantalising piece of information while speaking at a Star Trek convention in Las Vegas last week:
“[J Michael Straczynski] told me that he is in negotiations to re-acquire the rights to Babylon 5 and it looks pretty good.
Good news for B5 fans. While not a Babylon 5 fan myself I'm always happy to see more space opera in development or in preproduction for TV or feature film (or direct-to-DVD for that matter.
I was surprised TrekBBS didn't have a thread already here.

There is a current B5 thread.

A new B5 series on the horizon?

Yea, there was a deal for a distribution channel, full control for JMS and a good budget. Unfortunately after WB agreed to the deal with JMS, their money people didn't come through, so the deal fell apart.

Then he told them, well if we can't do that, can we do this? (No idea what "this" is, but, it's under negotiation and will be so for at least a year before anything might happen.

Also, as Koenig mentioned, JMS is trying to reaquire the B5 Rights (So maybe that's "This")
