Though I love "Space Precinct", I probably will go with RoboCop. It is a no-brainer, and one of my favorite movies of all time. Besides, Murphy's sure to get more votes than Brogan. So, RoboCop it is.

Good thing, though, I decided "Twin Peaks" is not SF, otherwise I'd really be in trouble deciding.

It could qualify as "fantasy" though...

In honor of Jeff Conway's passin', who played Security Officer Zack Allen on Babylon 5, this week's contest will be all about scifi security & police officers.
So, no fantasy.

Besides, don't tempt me!

Fantasy is just sufficiently advanced sci-fi.

Readin' over the info at wikipedia, seems to me that Thunderbirds would be more along the lines of firemen, not police.

You are correct, but I was going for a Shatner/Nimoy stretch. A big stretch I know. I changed my entry again.

Re: Scifi/Fantasy Avatar Contest - SECURITY!

Okay, ya got me on that one...

I know there were lines in the Adam West series that established Batman & Robin were deputized and worked with Gotham City's police force, while the Batman movies have him as a vigilante. Was there something similiar for the George Reeves series?
