Anything after Idol would get a 2.0 demo and 8+ million viewers.

They could have stuck Traffic Light there and it would have done the sameish.

Re: TV Ratings (Wednesday April 13th)

Retention out of Idol was nothing short of awful from "Breaking In", if you can't even break 3.0 in the demo then your wasting the slot. However I expect FOX to give it a 2nd season but the show will clearly struggle when not airing out of Idol.

Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior yo/yo behaviour continues and nothing special its clearly outdoing fellow 10pm struggler, The Good Wife and I feel the show could find a bigger audience next season.

ABC's sitcoms have had crappy on/off breaks since Spring and they clearly have not helped. The Middle will return next season but on the fence "Better With You" will probably find its self cancelled. Happy Endings debut was solid enough but then ABC had the idea to air the 2nd episode at 10pm - because that worked so well for NBC ...

Happy Endings debut's at 50/50 in my axe list but we will know more next week.

Ouch to the Middle and BWY....both did pretty well in the fall but just can't hold up against Idol. Plus BWY was off the schedule for 2 months and people likely forgot about it. I was glad to see it back - I still think it's a good show. But yeah, doomed to cancellation now.

Happy Endings was terrible....endured the first episode but didn't watch the second. Thank God Cougar Town is back next week.

BWY has been dead since the fall, the long wait had nothing to do with the fact no one was ever really watching it. Old fashion sitcoms are dead. Sad because it's a fun little show.

I haven't seen Happy Endings yet, but I heard the second episode was 100 times better than the first. But it will be on at 10pm so it's really DOA.

I kinda felt the same way too. There's aspects of it I didn't like--the pilot didn't make me laugh until about halfway through.

But, the second episode was a little better. I'd give it a B. For the supporting cast, not the "couple" who broke up. I like the other more.

Re: TV Ratings (Wednesday April 13th)

Better With You was struggling long before its break and the long break it had seemed to me that ABC has decided to cancel it and are just burning the episodes off now. Also some very BAD news for Breaking In, which dropped 0.2 in the finals to a 2.6 demo despite Idol going up 0.2 in its own demo.

Modern Family, Happy Endings (9:30pm), Survivor, Criminal Minds and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior all saw 0.1 increases.
