I should stop being slothful but, eh, I don't care enough.

Excellent work as always REL.

Re: Re-Imagined K'tinga/D7

Thanks for the comments, guys.

I think I'm about finished with the top now, I had to replace a few panels that were a little wonky that I didn't notice until I took the pic of it. It's hard to see in these pics, but I made a vent along the leading edge of the wing on each side. I also added a layer of hull plating on the larger panels.

I'll take better pics later because it's dark in here.

Now we will need a suitable Klingon name for it

As far as a name goes (and I'm just throwing it out there)...

I.K.S. Lukara (mostly because she's worthy of Kahless himself)

Re: Re-Imagined K'tinga/D7

Thank you for the name suggestion, I like it.

I have it mounted on an aluminum internal armature, and mocked up the main body parts. I decided to break from tradition and put the impulse engines in the wings.

Wow, that's starting to look very aggressive.

I think impulse engines in the wings is a great idea... especially since you've got all of that great detail there, around the torpedo tube.

Amazing... Just amazing.

What's Klingon for "Change Your Shorts"? I'm thinking that's what you should name the ship class... *kidding*

Cheers,

Is that an aft torpedo tube? It looks to be angled downwards.
