Tholians Gone Wild

Here is a picture I did awhile ago.
A couple of Tholians attacking the U.S.S. Daniels.

I've also included the orthos for both ships.

I'm digging your FJ-esque take on the Kelvin. But personally I never cared for the Tholian ships being so flashy. But that's just may taste, your detail is well executed.

That's beautiful work, but TheWormhole would be disappointed that you left the zero out of the registry numbers.

Also, if it's the Kelvin class, the USS Kelvin should have the lowest registry number, the USS Constellation (NCC-1017) notwithstanding.

Of course, nothing has been officially established.

Leaving the zero off was just a personal choice.

On my versions of the TOS ships I've got a shuttle bay on one side of the saucer rim and a cargo bay on the other side. So in this instance I didn't find it needed on the secondary hull. Again personal choice.

I like the recessed tubes on the underside, with phasers between them.

I see the title of this thread and I keep imagining crystaline lifeforms gettin' "jiggy" and drunk at a "rave", resulting in their hiking up their "shells", and thus "flashing" their electro-magnetic based "naughty bits".

Sincerely,

Bill
