I agree he needs some red about waistish. The old red undies look stupid, but the new 52 has a red belt-like structure on their main and Earth-2 Supermen, and it looks awesome.

I wonder what people who found it too PC thought of the out and out piss take of the "American way" line in the first Donner film? "You'll be fighting every elected official in this country!"

Most likely they were younger when they first saw it, so they never really thought about it and since have grown to accept. Really Perry's line in SR is not that different from Lois's reaction in the original film.

They are reporters and had to covered politics and seen the darker corners of the system. It makes sense they would have much more cynical view of things than someone raised on a farm in Kansas. Lois & Clark had a similar contrast between the two characters.

The viral marketing to the film has begun. A countdown has started using what I can only assume are the film's "new" take on Kryptonian symbols, these being represented as numbers. Also...are these coordinates that make up the website?
