I'm still in the camp that it should be a single star system. Or one binary star system with half the planets in one, half in the other. Would add emphasis to the class struggle (IE the "poor" colonies from that other star system just get ignored).

TOS BSG used a similar layout with four stars as well. And Cyrannus was also a lift from TOS. Don't think it was ever officially mentioned on screen in the new show anywhere, though. Either way, I'm glad that Mandel was on the project. Despite some of the little typos that have been mentioned here, overall, a top-rate job, IMHO.

This being map of the original Battlestar Galactica, It's almost the same as the new Battlestar Galactica map, except Caprica is in a binary system in the original Battlestar Galactica map.
