Caprica Marathon

Just an FYI, for those who didn't shell out for the Caprica Season 1.5 box set, SyFy is runnin' a marathon of the Final Five (see what I did there?) episodes, startin' at five o'clock CST.

I've got the DVR set...

I haven't seen the whole series, but I can't tell y'all how many times I watched the pilot/premiere movie. And I'm kind of curious about how the series ends.

Caprica's ending wasn't bad and felt more like a series finale to me.

Well the coda was originally entitled Next Season on Caprica

I did love the show, while it started slow....I loved looking into this almost near future society that is so different yet not, from our own.

Re: Caprica Marathon

nevermind, I dont know about everyone else. But Sci-Fy screwed up the labeling of the episodes or something... They have Episode 14 "DirtEaters"
Episode 15 "The Heavens Will Rise"
Episode 16 "Blowback"
Episode 17 "Here Be Dragons"
Episode 18 "Apotheosis"
Shouldnt "Blowback" be before "Dirteaters" and "The Heavens Will Rise"?

^

Pretty sure the writers & producers name the episodes, not the network.

Watchin' DVR'ed Caprica now...and, ya know, its not as mindnumbingly retarded as the first few episodes of the series.

That is correct.

The final five episodes, in order:
  • Blowback
  • The Dirteaters
  • The Heavens Will Rise
  • Here Be Dragons
  • Apotheosis

Re: Caprica Marathon

I only caught some of this marathon. I will say this show definitely improved coming down the stretch. At first it was boring, but it wrapped up with some engaging storylines. Unfortunate that it won't get a second season. I might have to add this to my DVD collection now.

So...Did they air out of order? I recorded them, and am getting ready to watch them

I thought the final episodes were pretty good. I hope they got good ratings. One question that I guess will never be answered, since Zoe wasn't one of the 12 cylon models, what happened to her by the time of Galactica?

Re: Caprica Marathon

I didn't catch the marathon on Syfy, but I picked up the season 1.5 DVD set last week and had my own sort of marathon to watch the final, unaired episodes. Overall, I am very impressed with how well everything came together. In re-watching the entire series on DVD, I think it holds up pretty well.
