Disagree. You're looking at it from a conventional sit com sense. This is "Community" we're talking about so a relationship if one ever happened between Annie and Jeff wouldn't be a typical relationship, especially considering what they've overcome to get there and the age difference and the fact they're two opposite people hi-jinks will ensue. I think any relationship that develops on the show will follow the quirky formula they've established. Point in case, look at Abed and the Special Agent

annie and havad I think that's his the indian actor and senor chang are on attack of the show hosting today . you may want to check it out they will oncour the show agin @ midnight if you want to watch and I think every thing including community and all the show that follow it are new tommarow .
