The 2006 Blakes 7 Reimagining Radio Plays.
What grit. Captivating.

Re: The 2006 Blakes 7 Reimigining Radio Plays.
What a fricking cliff hanger! Time is seriously nigh! It's been over four years. But if this was tyhe direction that thye were planning in taking the NEW TV show, it would have been fun. No teleporter however. It wasn't the special effect that I enjoyed but the exclusivity and tactical advantage it gave Blake over everyone else... Both Voyager and Enterprise tried to play that game but it didn't last. Maybe Avon just hadn't found it yet?

I wish they had just gone forward with it, rather than prequels that were part new, part old cast. Trying to be both can't work. It seemed to happen just as a TV revival seemed possible, almost as if they no longer wanted to waste their best ideas on Audio.

The next batch of eps (if they ever get made) should introduce Cally as we've progress through The Way Back/Spacefall/Cygnus Alpha.

It was later bunched up into three episodes. The final episode ended with a foothold invasion by the System with five liberator class vessels holding the beachhead effortless, hacking into Zen till he was their bitch. How grand. The original series was just a suggestion.
