kATE IS IN MELBOURNE RIGHT NOW! (thank God the sun is out). Someone on the convention FB page said she was on the same plane as her!!!!!

Sadara!!! You look fabulous with Kate!!!!! How very very lovely. OMG OMG OMG. OMG. And that's about the level of dress up I'm going for, I usually attend cons in a Trek shirt just cuz I can. Bought a dress yesterday, might wear that to the concert tonight. My daughter is coming over early so we can plan our outfits.

Thank you muchly! Have fun! Kate is lots of fun in her photo op line. So much fun the photographer had to keep reminding her to stand still; she kept moving out of range of the camera.

Unfortunately I don't have any Trek shirts right now, but I might have worn one if I had one.

She's not unattractive, but neither would I consider Janeway sexy. Still, I didn't think it was important for her to be sexy in the first place. She's a starship captain, not a stripper. And I liked that the first female captain for a Trek series wasn't trying to dial up the sex appeal, and instead settled for a more professional look and demeanor.
