hackman would be cool.... he could get away with it by playing the older version.

Re: SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

They could get Scott Wells or Sherman Howard who played Lex on the Superboy TV series. Or Bill Mumy who played Tommy Puck.

Hackman would just be stupid.

The guy had one bad role his entire career. It was Lex Luthor.

God, no. One of the worst Lex Luthors ever.

God, yes. One of the best Lex Luthors ever.

(And yes, I'm aware they both played Luthor on the same show. There lies the dichotomy.)

Sherman Howard was pretty good.

Luthor Siblings Finally Meet In Spain!
If for whatever reason Michael Rosenbaum does not return for the final episode of Smallville, he'll still get to meet his TV sister Cassidy Freeman (Tess) in the coming months.

Michael and Cassidy will be joining previously announced guests Erica Durance and Justin Hartley at the "Superheroes Convention" in Seville, Spain, which will be held May 20-22, 2011.

Chances are this event will be less than ten days after the final episode of Smallville airs, so you can expect to hear some good scoop from the actors.

Re: SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

I would love to see a disturbing scene with Tess & Lex(played by Rosey).

They so have to hook up, just for the incest if nothing else.

And then roll out the Star wars quotes.

Re: SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

That blurb suggests that we could get scoop from the actors? Why would we be interested if it is taking place after the series finale? LOL

Re: SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

I was wondering who was in your avatar as well.

A SMALLVILLE movie would be awesome! I think there are some fans holding out hope that TW will be Superman in a movie along with Erica Durance as Lois and Rosey as Lex.

Re: SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

Tom Welling should never be Superman. He simply doesn't have the voice to play a superhero. The scene last week where he proposed to Lois drove that home once and for all -- he simply doesn't know how to give a speech, how to use his voice in a strong, potent, and charismatic way. His feeble, inept vocal performance was acceptable when he was playing an insecure teenager, but to hear that voice coming out of Superman's mouth would be as damaging to his heroic image as if he were wearing teddy-bear boxer shorts outside his costume.

Perhaps she's been the real Lex all along, and in a dramatic scene she'll whip off the wig and pull off a latex mask, ala Mission: Impossible, to reveal a scarred, evil looking Rosey.

That would be really weird given that Oliver and Tess have slept together.
