I would have loved to see The Emerald Empress on Smallville...with some Legion returning...but Her EYE might be over budget...

Doomsday was reported as a hoax story a couple of weeks ago...I gave a rant about how if that did come to pass it would have been the clincher that I would not come back at all, even for the finale. A part of my kitchen sink theory is that it has to do with nostalgia in my opinion and it's a matter of being able to make that nostalgicsm work within the context of your story. So far they've failed for me. Others obviously have got some enjoyment from this...there have been a few highlights like Brainy, General Lane and Lucy (ugh), Hawkman, etc. Mostly though this turns out to be dumb because of a lack of execution.
