Just another model that I made 15 years ago. The U.S.S Reliant I kit bashed the battle damage myself always thought I would look good that way.?

If I can remember I hacked the warp engine off and used a old soldering iron for the battle damage then used a airbrush to paint the damage on. I also put the model at a angle to make it feel that it was listing.

"Meet" static?
I believe it's "Let them eat static" ala "Let them eat cake".

Hi there thanks for the comments I'll post some more when I've got some spare time. I've just moved house so all my trek stuff is going in one of our spare rooms so once Ives moved them I'll take some more pics !!!

Ah, memories. I remember doing the battle damaged Enterprise in the same manner, using a soldering iron to burn in the Reliant phaser strike damage and then painting the scorching over the top. My Dad thought I was mental for ruining a perfectly good model.

Hi axeman love your new Miranda class watching your thread closely.? My dad went mad as I used new soldering iron for the battle damage. I also did the enterprise but sadly she went to the big model scrapyard in the sky she was beyond repair. I also find to cardy galor class ships two voyagers and enterprise C I may post them on here when I get them at of mothballs !!!!

I kitbashed mine with TNG nacelles and an update top deck.

that was my first kitbash ever. Memories. *sigh*

still looks pretty good for 15 years, only a little decal yellowing.

I watched TWOK again last night on the telly, and I tell you I honestly got chills watching the Reliant in action. It's a real beautiful looking design.
