I like this episode so far.

I'll give Smallville two points for details. Lane mentions he's a senior military advisor on the Vigilante bill, explaining why he's involved in a political issue. When he was in the Navy, John McCain served as their liason to the Senate. Also, Lane noting that the Metropolis tower coming down was an act of terrorism by vigilantes. It would sure look that way from a regular person's perspective.

Lois and Clark really need to tune their lie dishes to same channel because they kind-of suck at it.
