I know Nolan doesn't like Robin, but if it's the last film he's making no reason he couldn't introduce him as it's not like he's going to be stuck with him. If anyone can make the character work he can.

I've always thought Robin could take batman's first kevlar suit and modify it. The circus outfit could kill him.
