Funny, so far, nothing about this film (other than Hathaway in tight leather) has me excited. I trust Nolan so I'm not in the "it's gonna bomb" category. However, I never gave a damn about Bane and I still don't. And the hints that they're going to kill off Bruce just so they can have another damn trilogy and, later, another damn reboot/origin story leave me cold.

I kind of agree.

What we've seen so far hasn't been as interesting as what we had seen of the Dark Knight, even after only the first bits of publicity were released. As I said in another thread (best 20cents on film) the Joker card at the end of the Batman Begins was far more of an interesting teaser for the sequel than anything we've seen yet for Rises, including some dumb photos of Bane .

I'm really hoping they don't kill off Bruce. At this point, it's predictable, but I'm not sure Nolan knows it's predictable.

Overall, I'm still pretty "meh" on this movie. I'm sure I'll still see it theaters, but I definitely need to see a trailer before I know for sure.

I agree my excitement level is in the mid range for this film.
Not stoked on the 8yr gap for one thing. I do like Bane and am fine with this costume/outfit. Going to be the best 'real' Bane to the comics at least, unlike B&R. I like that it seems Ra's is going to appear somehow/someway. I like Hathaway even if I'm not sold on her version of Catwoman's costume.

It's a trilogy wrap up that, just based on what little has been released, feels a bit anti-climatic as of now. I reserve the right to alter that as more info becomes available.
