Re: Minecraft

What height is the squid tank at? They changed the squid spawning algorithm a while back so that they only spawn between levels 45-62, in order to prevent them from spawning in absurd locations like they used to. It's possible that that's what broke the squid tank, if the spawner isn't somewhere between those levels then squid might not be able to spawn. Just a guess.

The Zoo is around level 70 so that's probably it.

If that's the case, then we might want to build a new one underground somewhere, Phil.

Re: Minecraft

Is there a list anywhere of people's TrekBBS names and corresponding Minecraft IDs? I'm having a hard time keeping everyone straight.

And just in case anyone didn't know, mine is brickmaster5000 (thanks to my son for that name ).

Thanks Kes. Yeah, I've been meaning to add it to my signature on the Minecraft forums, but I keep forgetting.

Oops, I just think of him as Dac so I forgot that the name was different. It was actually a little difficult for me to get the full names down because I don't call anyone by their full screenname, so it took me a second to remember them!

Yeah, there was a lot of lag last night. I was wondering if it maybe was due to that or if it that happened later after I had gone.

Re: Minecraft

No, the only lag was before the spawners got adjusted to a reasonable volume. Actually, I only noticed it happening once myself.

Re: Minecraft

FYI, some of you know that I was sharing the "brickmaster5000" account with my son. Well, I finally went and fixed that and got my own account, so now my Minecraft ID is "rabbit_13".
