Yeah I'll agree about that...it's like they felt that they needed to have a character that was anti-hero or something. All of this being said I must say that I'm looking forward to "Abandonment". Lois's first trip to the Fortress and she meets the Julian Sands Jor-El and Helen Mirren is back as Lara. Not to mention Justin's wife Lindsay makes her Smallville debut!!!
Admiral_Young sorry to correct you,but its Helen Slater not Mirren that plays Lara on Smallville.

Yeah seems everyone wants to correct me on that one lol...I just happened to be watching "The Queen" when I typed that but was thinking of Helen Slater.

Jeeze people. 300 posts? This wasn't a 300-post episode. I gave it an "average".

Anyway, that was pretty cool the way Clark moved Cat from the museaum to the cafe.

The brunette? She seemed familliar.
Erica Cerra. She's a big scifi fan and wants to play Wonder Woman.

BTW, I just started watching the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited cartoons, I had never seen them before, so I'm finding it fun to see Superman and the JLU in cartoon form, pretty awesome cartoon IMO.
Great show.

Loved Tess's laugh there.
Kind of un-Tess like. It was more the actress laughing than Tess.

I prefer... "Which method would you choose to get off on Cat Grant?"

Thanks guys, she's ok, was with the babysitter and the babysitter got into a wreck, she's 2 years old, my sister took her to the doctor and she's ok, just a little bruised, her face must have hit something, but she's ok and everyone else is too.
Weekend's over. Hope all is well.

I'll have to catch up on this episode, I like the laser beam eye effect they use in this series for Clark
I liked the one they had in previous seasons where it was just the "heated air" effect with no concentrated CGI fire nonsense.

I don't get it... Is Tess supposed to be a "good guy."

She's Miss Tessmacher afterall.

They did The Reveal nicely.
As they should have. Wasn't the anniversary of his coming out supposed to be around now as established in last week's episode?

Admiral_Young wrote: View Post
...also I noticed that the museum curator was named Adrianna, wasn't Isis from "52" named Adrianna Topaz?
Cool nod. I want to see Black Adam as well as Erica Cerra as Isis. Not gonna happen is it. At least we can imagine.

I really love Cassidy Freeman/Tess...but I am more than willing to have Keri Lynn Pratt/Cat Grant.
I'd take 'em both. Double the trouble, double the fun. Then onto Erica Cerra.

It's been a 300 plus thread kind of because we've gone off topic but also because some of thought it was awful.

Re: Smallville 10x05 "Isis" - Discussion and Spoilers

It was kinda awful. I am just glad that Lois knows for real and they can move on with the show...of course...we could have some bad ones coming up...

"Harvest" --The Official CW Description: CLARK TRIES TO KEEP LOIS SAFE — Clark (Tom Welling) is concerned about Lois’ (Erica Durance) safety so he diverts her away from covering the Vigilante Registrations Act by suggesting she cover another story. After he comes clean with her, an angry Lois tells him that she can take care of herself, but when a flat tire strands their car in the middle of nowhere, their plans take a turn for the worse and Lois ends up in serious danger. Meanwhile, Tess (Cassidy Freeman) searches for a cure for Alexander (guest star Connor Stanhope), who is rapidly aging. Turi Meyer directed the episode written by Al Septien & Turi Meyer (#3X6007).
"Ambush" --The CW Official Description: GENERAL LANE AND LUCY LANE RETURN TO SMALLVILLE FOR THANKSGIVING — The General (guest star Michael Ironside) and Lucy Lane (Peyton List) decide to drop in on Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling) for a surprise Thanksgiving dinner. Clark and the General get off to a rocky start after Lois’ father bashes the superheroes and tells Clark he is trying to pass a vigilante registration law. Meanwhile, in an effort to stop the vigilante registration act from being passed, Rick Flagg (guest star Ted Whittall) lies to Lucy in order to lure Clark away from the farm long enough for him to assassinate the General. Lois is torn between making her father proud and her love for Clark. Posted on KryptonSite. Christopher Petry directed the episode written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson (3X6006).
"Abandoned" --The CW's Official Description: TERI HATCHER GUEST STARS AS ELLA LANE; DC COMICS’ CHARACTERS GRANNY GOODNESS (CHRISTINE WILLES) AND HARRIET (GUEST STAR LINDSAY HARTLEY) APPEAR — Lois (Erica Durance) finds a video made for her by her mother, Ella Lane (Hatcher), before she died. After watching the tape, Lois makes a drastic decision about her relationship with Clark (Tom Welling) that takes her to the Fortress, where she comes face to face with Jor-El and Lara. Meanwhile, Tess has a nightmare involving herself as a child and a music box. Upon awakening, she finds the music box in Luthor mansion and sets out to find out who planted it there. Clark accompanies her to an orphanage run by Granny Goodness (guest star Christine Willes) who may not have the young girls’ best intentions in mind. One of the young women living there, Harriet (guest star Hartley), finds Clark snooping around and decides to take matters into her own very sharp hands. Kevin Fair directed the episode written by Drew Landis & Julia Swift (#3X6008).
These could go either way.

Yeah that seems like it will be good. I think "Harvest" & "Ambush" will end up being average...at best.

Me too...and I think we are going to see that actor who played Lex again, I'm starting to lose faith that Mike will come back. I think they would have announced something by now.

I assume "Harriet" will be Smallvilles take on Mad Harriet, one of Granny's Female Furies from the comics. I wonder if the other Furies will show up?

Re: Smallville 10x05 "Isis" - Discussion and Spoilers

My theory is that Tess is a sleeper Fury...else what other purpose would Granny have for entering her room in the finale last year? Yes Lindsay's character is the Smallville version of Mad Harriet and I'm betting that we'll see more Furies.
