^ Only thing I didn't like about the Donner cut is that they took out Superman's best line:

"General, would you care to step outside?"

Re: Your latest purchases, cont.

Too true. A downside.

Also, I prefer the Eiffel Tower hydrogen bomb being the catalyst for the Phantom Zone breaking and the supervillains escaping but at least the Donner edit more closely connects the events of the first two films.

Now I need to find the original version of Superman II and I'm set. Superman III and IV...don't need 'em or want 'em.

Re: Your latest purchases, cont.

I spent nearly $800 at the garden centre yesterday. I bought

a three seater swing seat
a sunlounge that matches the swing seat
a large compost bin
a roll of chicken wire
a rake
2 large terracotta pots

delivery fee was $50

I also bought tomato and cucumber plants, an assortment of flowering plants for my various pots but I carried them home yesterday.

The items were delivered about 30 minutes ago and my son is currently putting the swing seat together.

delivery fee was $50

Sounds great. I've got 5 1/2 - 6 months before I'll be planting anything again. Post some pictures when they start producing fruit.
