We just bought a new dishwasher last night after ours stopped working. It's a seriously nice model at a decent price.

Yeah, being quiet is a nice plus, but the things we really liked were the detachable, movable silverware baskets, an extra wash arm, stainless steel interior, and the 10 (!) year warranty on the motor and most of the moving parts. Plus there were store and manufacturer rebates, so our final cost for everything (including tax, delivery, installation, and haulaway of our old washer) was a hair over $620. Not bad for what is pretty much a top-of-the-line model.

my mom has a super quiet one that won't even wake up a baby. I'll ask her what brand/model it is. Maybe it's available in your country

Today I bought lots of chocolate, some groceries and a very nice cauliflower which is going to be tomorrow's supper

Kenmore makes some incredibly quiet ones. I have a friend who owns one and they're thrilled with it (replaced a high end Bosch with it).
