An enormous bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper, to get me through the rest of the day.

I swear, I should just get an IV bottle of the stuff so I can mainline soda.

Re: Your latest purchases, cont.

I've been on a bit of a spy kick lately, so I picked up dvd sets of two Seventies British series, The Persuaders and The Protectors on eBay. I also bought a dvd of a Sixties Roger Moore spy comedy called Crossplot. However, the most important dvd purchase for me was Gene Roddenberry's The Questor Tapes, which has finally been released on dvd. It was actually released back in October, but I just recently found out about it (and I don't recall it being mentioned on this Board at all). Now all I have to do is find the time to watch them.

I found a cute bag for my new ukulele for a great price, and ordered it off amazon before noticing that it takes "1-4 months" to ship. WTF?

Re: Your latest purchases, cont.

^It's coming along, thanks. My roommate said I already sound better, but I'm in a kind of daunting place where I can pick up pretty much any stringed instrument and have the basics down immediately, but then I remember there's a shitload of technique to learn anad that actually takes work. I got all the basic chords memorized, and can even do some bar chords (something my small hands make very difficult on guitar). Fingering is easy for me too, because of my cello and violin training. But I have basically no strumming or plucking technique, as one pretty much never strums a cello...

-A pair of black, suede moccasins.
-Some clearance tops that my hubs thinks are really loud.
-A whole bunch of chocolate because I've been feeling slightly depressed.
-Four pairs of clearance socks that are super soft because they're made of bamboo yarn.
-Toilet paper.
-A case of Coke.
-Cat food.
-A leather bound print of Brahm Stoker's Dracula.
