My new watch arrived today. Love that funky 70s styling. It's like something they'd wear on Space 1999.

Ordinarily, it would have been way out of my price range. But that 62 per cent discount put it within reach.

^That does look retro-futuristic. My watches are much more mundane but that probably has to do with the fact that they cost around $20.

Hubby got the Nexus phones out of the box and actually working. I've never had a smart-phone before, so it takes some getting used to, but I like it so far. It will come in handy when I visit my folks or find myself lost downtown.

Have bought (won) this next thing on ebay

Plus some wig caps, have a fantasy fair in april and a wicked pink/purple/red wig but am new to wearing wigs plus have long hair so proper wig caps are a must.

Bought wine, cat toys and some groceries.

EDIT: Actually, my very latest purchase is a coffee mug, to replace the one I broke last night.

It was one of a set of four, in a line that was discontinued years ago. But--eBay to the rescue!
