I just had that exact thought like 30 seconds ago!

EDIT: omg, they must be broadcasting thoughts into our minds!

The Master hoped to bring insane spherical cyborgs from the future, but he couldn't close the deal. So he brought floating cats instead.

I can't be the only one who has this problem. I ended up going to glass containers because I kept having to replace the tupperware ones ...
I've always used glass! -Not only is it microwave safe it's also easily cleaned (and dishwasher safe) and it's dirt-cheap in second-hand shops! (would you eat something that's been stored in second-hand plastic?)
Also (tinfoil hat time) heating things up in plastic can release toxins into your food. I'm guilty of it from time to time, but I do try to make an effort to remove leftovers and such from the plastic before heating things up in the microwave.

I'm a big fan of slapping people down with Snopes, but that article you linked to doesn't specifically say it doesn't, and in fact one of the quotes towards the bottom even says that when you heat things you increase the chance of releasing chemicals and that you should used glass or ceramics.

It does shoot down the dioxins in water bottles bit, but that's a separate issue.

There's plenty of studies that show chemicals are released when microwaving though.

Here's a good one.
