So reboot it is, then. I knew that it was a question not of if, but when.
They could do a reboot/sequel. Have the new cast work for Ray and Winston.

Here's a nice interview with Ivan Reitman on what was and will be happening with the next film http://www.deadline.com/2014/03/ghos...-reitman-sony/

Well, if nothing else, you have to admire the man's determination. Never give up Mr. Aykroyd.

I think Mr. Aykroyd has been sampling a little too much of his own product.

With almost anyone else, I'd say he was just shining everyone on, but Aykroyd is bugnuts crazy and believes everything that comes out of his mouth.

As much as I love Ghostbusters, I can't resist the urge to post this threadbomb.

Seriously, I know Aykroyd has always been a bit on the weird side (and we all love him for that) but when did he totally loose the plot? I had no idea he'd gone this bonkers.

Indeed. I love Aykroyd and pretty much everything he's ever done or been in. I wish there could have been a Ghostbusters 3 (20 years or so ago, when everyone was younger and still alive) but, man, this guy is a bit batty.

Again, that battiness has by and large worked for him but what he's saying/doing here is just pure craziness.

Count me in on that, too. Love Aykroyd, but this is a bit overboard. I do, however, like Murray's idea that if they are going to make another Ghostbusters, have it be a team of women this time around.
