Conventions and such

Does anyone here know of any conventions or shows where Star Trek actors will appear, besides those of Creation Entertainment? I ask because they are so infrequent and seldom in Portland, OR, where I live.

I remember about eight years back Armin Shimerman came to a local comic book show and I got to meet him, which was great. Unfortunately for him, they anticipated a huge line, and stuck him in a hidden place. I had to ask Andy Mangels where they put Mr. Shimerman. Because he was so secluded and hard to find we got to talk with him for a bit.

My favorite is Shore Leave, which takes place outside Baltimore every summer. That's a long way from Portland, I realize, but they have plenty of good media guests every year. (Not just from Trek, but, in recent years, Stargate, Galactica, Buffy, etc.)

Best website ever! This site lists all of the Trek actors alphabetically who will be appearing at a con in the near future, and it's updated frequently:

Hope this helps!

Hmm, Spiner, Shatner and Frakes in Seattle in March. I'll have to go.
