Conventions and such

Does anyone here know of any conventions or shows where Star Trek actors will appear, besides those of Creation Entertainment? I ask because they are so infrequent and seldom in Portland, OR, where I live.

I remember about eight years back Armin Shimerman came to a local comic book show and I got to meet him, which was great. Unfortunately for him, they anticipated a huge line, and stuck him in a hidden place. I had to ask Andy Mangels where they put Mr. Shimerman. Because he was so secluded and hard to find we got to talk with him for a bit.

My favorite is Shore Leave, which takes place outside Baltimore every summer. That's a long way from Portland, I realize, but they have plenty of good media guests every year. (Not just from Trek, but, in recent years, Stargate, Galactica, Buffy, etc.)
