Total Noob Questions: Need To Get A Website Up And Running...
![]() Here is what I want to do: I have a forum for a specific segment of the manufacturing industry on a "advertisement powered forum" site, it's time for me to make a real website that I can eventually put a real forum on. What I want to do is register "blahblahblah.com" where "blah" is a placeholder... then I need somewhere to host this site, at the very minimum I need to put up a "Under Construction" page. Where do I begin? And most importantly, I'm looking for informed opinions on the various services... such as "stay away from "Blarg International" or whatever. Thanks for your help! |

It does have a paid service as well, 5 dollars a months for unlimited bandwith, unlimited space, and you can do pretty much whatever you want with it as long as you aren't pirating movies. And your site can be blahblahblah.com

EDIT: HEY LOOK AT THAT! http://plasticoperators.netai.net/ The built-in edit-program sucks balls. Is Komposer any good? Last edited by Ablative_Oberth; September 6 2010 at 12:19 AM. |

![]() Thanks for the compliment, Jeff! And, please, feel free to disagree ... vehemently! It'd be a boring world if we all agreed. Besides, it's all in good fun.
