Did this as a tribute to Jack Kirby's Silver Surfer art, which always seemed to have the most bizarre structures floating behind him in space lol...

Yeah, that beef was part of the Kirby-tribute aspect of the first one, his heroes tend to look like they're drawn from BALCO models...
