Oh, crap I did! Both have Avengers in the thread title.
Cursory reading of thread title, curses!

Be nice to have one of those "move to" buttons like MS Outlook has. Guess I'll just copy&paste the comments over.

That's why I suggested a thread title change in the other thread. For those who may not know, the "Heroic Age" thread has become a general Marvel discussion thread.

New German trailer shows new footage. This film looks just awesome. If that is a shot of the Triskelion where Coulson is waiting for Fury then it looks magnificent. Also it would seem that 'Tasha and Bruce do have some scenes together.

Here's what they're saying (not always sure about which character is talking):

man's voice: In the end, everyone is responsible for himself.

another man (coulson?): What are we going to do?
Fury: We get ready. We had the plan to bring togheter a group of extraordinary people.

Black Widow: You have to join.
Banner: And if I say "no"?
Black Widow: Then I'll convince you.

Stark: Let's look at what we have: We have a pair of super-killers, a guy with unbelievable aggression problems, a demi-god, a super-soldier and me.

Fury: Gentlemen: What are you willing to do?

Stark: Don't be mad, but I don't like playing with others.
Captain America: A big man in a suit. Take it away, what are you?
Stark: A genius. Billionare. Playboy. Philanthropist.

man's voice (Loki?): You have no idea what you are dealing with.

man's voice: We are not a team. We are a time bomb.

Stark: If we can't protect the world... The Avengers will avenge it.

Stark: Then you'll have to train.

Next year is definitely shaping up to be a hell of a year for Sci-Fi and Fantasy movies.

Marvel’s The Avengers, which Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures will give a wide release on May 4, 2012, is now going to be in 3D as well as 2D, the studio announced Thursday.

sounds like a conversion to me...
2D screening for me it is.

While I will probably go with a 2D screening myself, Joss Whedon has said that he knew from the very begining that the movie would get a 3D release and accounted for it "every second" while filming. He also said the movie would not be "obnoxiously 3D".

Here's an interview with Joss Whedon on Riki Lindhome's podcast with Joss Whedon for anybody interested.

Yeah, at this point I pretty much assume a major release is going to be in 3D, unless specifically stated otherwise. I'll probably wait to see what kind of a reaction the 3D gets before I make my final decision.

I'll be seeing it in 2D. I only see out of one eye. I can't see it in 3D.

I'm not ruling out 3-D but my first viewing will be 2-D. Depending on feedback I hear will determine if I check out 3-D at some point during it's opening weekend run.
